In situ is just a fancy way of saying “in place” and in the art world, that means showing your art installed in a space. Over under the portfolio tag you can see my artwork in actual spaces, but sometimes (like today) I like to play around with adding artwork to already designed spaces. I think it helps you envision how my paintings could look in your space- or maybe even give you some additional inspiration if you’re starting from scratch!
Anyhow, this is one of those “add my art to a photo” exercises. I looked in the shop today and saw that there are only three (3!!) DEVELOP paintings still available for sale. (Well, technically five, but two of them were just picked up for a show so they’re been claimed until at least September.) So I took two of the available pieces and added them to a gorgeous image of a bedroom featuring a black, mustard, and white oak color palette. Swoon-worthy is the first word that comes to mind when I see this. (Followed shortly after with the thought of “can I redo our bedroom to look like this?”)
