Went to the farmers market today and holygoodness. It was awe.some. I would have bought the entire store had J not reminded me we won't be home this weekend so all of the fresh produce for the wonderful menus I was coming up with wouldn't last. Looks like we'll be back next week!
I did snag a huge container of sundried tomatoes though and used it to make an awesome pasta for dinner. Yummy. Nothing beats pasta. Oh! and we picked up a fresh loaf of challah*. If by chance you haven't tasted the goodness of it yet you have to get some. It is the best bread ever. And the french toast it makes? Heavenly.
On a side note, I've been working a lot on orders lately, but have another endeavor on the horizon. More to come on that later!
Hope everyone has had a lovely day!
* I grew up with a lot of Jewish friends so this bread isn't new to me. If you'd like to read more about it (or learn what it is) click here. Honestly, I was always a little jealous that while we had communion wafers at church, their sabbath included this amazing braided bread. And yes, I am fully aware that neither religion is about the bread, I just think challah is far superior than styrofoam-ish wafers. Just my opinion, though. I won't judge if for some reason you really like communion wafers... :)
