Pink

Color Inspiration: ballerina pink, Bordeaux crimson, and dove grey

Colors ranging from ballerina pinks into deep Bordeaux crimson lend a dose of romanticism, while the dove grey brings in a touch of sophistication. I love how easy this color scheme is on the eyes, while still evoking a sense of drama to an event or space.

Garden Parties

It has been really really hot here for the past few days so in an attempt to remember the cooler days of spring, I thought I would post this board! I especially love the ceremony site. The way the sherbet colored flowers and greenery pop against the clean white palette is just beautiful! Hope you enjoy!

Summer Berries

This board was inspired by a photo I saw over on Santa Barbara Wedding Chic. I saw it this morning and just couldn't stop thinking of it. I loved the playfulness of the ice cream cones, and esp. loved the color! Sticking with a color palette of various berry tones, this is what evolved. I would love to attend a wedding like this. In my head there is a lot of laughter, twinkle lights, and yummy homemade treats. Hope you enjoy!

Rose, Stone and Cocoa

I love this color combination- it reminds me so much of Paris. I know it's best suited for a fall or winter event, but I couldn't wait anymore to post it! Together these colors create an incredibly romantic and elegant feel that perfectly mesh together modern and traditional decor. I love the idea of a candlelit entrance as well as simple anemone touches in the centerpieces and on the cake. What do you think?

Cotton Candy on the Beach

This board was inspired by the cotton candy colors of the beach sky. I love how these colors evoke an airy, relaxed, and beautiful feeling to any event. And aren't those flags lovely? Details like those not only bring a subtle drama, but also make the beach breezes work on your behalf instead of against!

Plum, Blush and Fog

I think half the fun is coming up with the names of colors :)

And yes, I'm still on a purple kick.

This board plays up the vintage qualities of purple- utilizing more subdued shades of the color mixed with foggy grays and almost white blushes. Maybe it's the flower shop window or the simplicity of the cake, but this board completely reminds me of Paris. To me, it's a place where even the foggiest of days are magical and full of beauty.

Pastel Wedding

I always loved dyeing eggs and with Easter right around the corner I thought I would bring back those memories with a Easter egg inspired board. I focused on a huge variety of pastel colors (just like what you would find with an egg hunt!) and a very family focused dinner. Lots of homemade items (like the pastel cupcakes) and fun vintage prom inspired bridesmaids dresses (anyone else remembering tons of white tulle, pastel sashes and socks trimmed with lace? Thought so :) ) Just like brunch on Easter Sunday, this wedding would be an incredibly laid back occasion (think handpicked bouquets) where everyone pitched in before the celebration. And does anyone remember the potluck picnics held after church? Where you bring something according to your last name? That would be such a cute idea with a wedding like this!*

Enjoy!

Coral and Lemon

Spring fever has officially hit me; I just can't get enough of bright bold colors and sunshine! This board brings all of those together in a playful, understated elegance kind of way. Think I might throw a brunch party in the upcoming months just so I have a reason to make those rose macaroons... and the bright banners...and wear a pretty citrus colored dress :)

Summer Sunset Wedding

Using this peony I came up with today's board-a summer wedding at sunset. Very classic, chic, and preppy, with an outdoor ceremony by the lake followed with blue or blackberry filled desserts, an all white wedding cake, and lots of slow dancing.
